About Dirtydux

So I am Dirtydux. I a wife, a mother, and an animal lover. I love passionately. I live my life the same way. I have a gorgeous husband that has never turned his back on me. I have 3 strong willed sons that have never been on Ridilin or zoloft or zanex. I have 4 cockatiels, 1 lovebird, 1 quaker parrot and a sun conure that will never be left to rot in a cage.  I have a pitt bull that is almost 11 years old and he has never killed another dog or bitten a child.

I used to be a wife and mother that worked 2 jobs and fed my kids McDonald’s at least once a week. I worked came home with dinner, went to bed. I never saw my kids or husband. I was exhausted and 45 lbs overweight. In other words I was a sheep, a useless eater….I watched a documentary one night that changed my life forever.

The Beautiful Truth

I woke up and started educating myself. Immediately our eating habits changed from disgusting to strictly organic with very little meat. It did not take long to lose all my extra weight. In my excited state of wakefulness, I did exhaustive research on a plethora of subjects…How deep does the rabbit hole go? The world can be a terrible place…I am a VERY sensitive person. I saw some horrendous things about animals that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I watched Food Inc. and I bawled like a baby. I have not eaten pork or chicken since. But that was the straw that broke the camels back.  I could not watch another video or see another picture. I was taking in all that pain. I had to step away for a respite. My heart still weighs so heavy for them all.

I turned my attention to other things. Not only are we slaughtering animals but I believe the powers that be are in the process of doing the very same thing to us….The corruption of the government is all encompassing and everyone has a price it seems.

So what does that mean for a wife and mother? It means that I have to fight despite the opposition I have faced with my family and friends. I have a responsibility to protect my children and mother earth. I have to try to save what is left for future generations.

For a long time I thought the title of the movie was a cruel joke because the truth (as I saw it) was quite ugly. Then one day I was enlightened by the law of attraction sort of. I realized that the title was no joke. The truth really is beautiful because if we lived by the truth there would be no war, no hunger, nor disease. But we would have to live naturally, in harmony with the earth. Because the earth is our mother and our healer.
